In recent years it seems to me Good Friday has been a bright sunny day. Today it was. Even at 5:30. This is my week of being chronically underslept on account of socializing. Tomorrow is Bake-Off, though, so after Rest and re/New tonight I came home and made a chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting. I used the toothpick method and believe the cake is baked appropriately. It is now cooling on the stove and I will frost it in the morning ( ( Read more... )
